Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my homies!  We are having our family turkey dinner tomorrow, and my dad's coming over.  My kids are so excited.  My dad usually rejects my dinner invitations - long story involving medical information that I really don't need to share - but I keep inviting him anyway.  My dad is over almost every day and he rarely calls first.  I love that about him.  I am so thankful for my dad and my family and I am happy to be serving dinner.  It's such a small thing weighed against how I feel about them.

In honour of Thanksgiving, I made this card using an image from the October release from Chicken Girl Designs;

That turkey dude is so darling.  I shrunk down the image and went with earthy tones from the newly released Halloween in Wonderland by Graphic45.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and check out the projects by the rest of the chicken girls.

stamps; gobble you up (chicken girl designs by IHP)
paper; Halloween in wonderland (graphic45), kraft (paper accents), raven, coconut swirl (bazzill)
accessories; labels 15, square nestabilities (spellbinders), buttons (cosmo cricket), border punch (ek success), copic markers

I love what you did with the papers in the background. Love that you used kraft (my fave) and I love how you colored the turkey! So cute!

So elegant and beautiful!
I really like the result of overstamping sentiment on the image.
