I suddenly realized that I forgot to blog in December that I am now a design team member for Paper Craft Planet called the SuperNovas! *squeal*!!!!!! This group of *uber* talented women have been wonderful to me. Today is my first time hosting the sketch challenge. It's a gooder if I do say so myself! The part that really challenged me was posting it on Paper Craft Planet and on the PCP blog. I am marginally computer literate, and I tried to get it up before the computer literate people in my family left the house this morning, and I had it mostly done before they left. Then, sigh, they left and the wheels fell off. I messed up in a couple of places, and thankfully, Susanna is so sweet and has promised to fix my mess.
Here's my sample for this week's sketch challenge;
I went with warm and cozy sunshine thoughts for my card. It's FREAKIN' COLD right now and while I know this weather is normal for mid-January it doesn't mean I have to like it! I used cozy colours and gave a nod to my gorgeous garden poppies in full splendor to give winter the boot.
I used the following copic markers to colour this lovely poppy image;
Blossom; R21, R22, R27, R29, R59
Center; B34, B37, B39, 110 Special Black
Foliage; YG93, YG97, YG99
If you can play along with us, add a link through the inlinkz on the blog or the sketch challenge page on PCP. I'd love to see what you do with the sketch!!!
Have a wonderful weekend.
stamps; plant a little love (just rite)
