This week on the OCC I am challenging the girls with this sketch;
And here is what I did with this sketch;
I used Basic Grey's new paper, Capella. I really love this paper, so I expect you'll be seeing quite a bit of it over the next month or so. *grin*. It's so soft and elegant, and I am quite inspired by it! I used one of my Capella Bloomers in the corner which is quite different for me. These handy dandy embellishments have intimidated me in the past, but not any more!!! They are so quick and easy! What was I thinking!!!
I used labels 10 for the image base and layered petite ovals on top for that layered look I so love! This image is from Just Rite's Thinking of You set. I've had it for awhile and it was perfect for this card. The pearls that embellish the flowers are taupe pearls and I'm thrilled with the look of them with the Capella paper. The image is coloured with copics, and I think that's all the highlights for today. I do have some picture of our newest lovely mama dog that I'll share shortly. In the mean time, go get inspired by taking a peek at the rest of the OCC girls' projects on the OCC blog!
Have a wonderful long weekend!!!
