This week, Silke is challenging us to use this Color Combo on a card or project - how easy is that??? We can't wait to see your ideas!!!
Please remember there is no time limit on our challenges - participate whenever you are able. To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave us a comment linking to your card/project so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC
Here's my project for this lovely colour challenge;
First, forgive me if I break my arm patting myself on the back, but I'm tickled with this punch border! I used my cornice border punch (martha stewart) on the white card stock. Then, I cut out 3 circles using a nestie die. I cut each of the circles in half and lined them up with the arches of the border punched pattern. I'll be using this again - love it!
I coloured Agnes Ketto (stamping bella) with prismacolour pencils and jazzed her wings with Diamond stickles. This card was just a whole lotta fun to do.
Please check out the samples by the Design team on the OCC blog, and leave some encouragement.
stamps; agnes ketto (stamping bella)
paper; origins (basic grey), tawny (prismatics), petty cash, brown, coconut swirl (bazzill)
ink; espresso adirondack (ranger)
accessories; circle nesties (spellbinders), ribbon (SU!), cornice border punch (martha stewart), diamond, tiara stickles (ranger), clear rhinestones (heidi swapp)

Great card! those colours go wonderfully together and I too like what you did with the scalloped edges.
I was admiring that border too Loretta! BEAUTIFUL card!!!!!
Your coloring is great! I have to agree with you about the border. The points of the white border lines up perfectly on the dip of the green "scallops". I really like the dp you've chosen for this project too.
Wonderful work, Loretta. I love the way your card came out. I REALLY struggled with this challenge but was trilled to see the rest of the team had great creations! Your border is amazing. Thanks for sharing this great technique!!
