SC240 Chicken Girl Design sneak a peek

Okay, so in the middle of 3 releases (Our Daily Bread, SUINK and ihp Chicken Girl Designs), my dad and DH have decided to do some construction work in my studio. Fortunately the last wedding dress and 2 surprise bridesmaid dresses are done and those lovely ladies are happy with the alterations. However, I've had limited time in my studio and so I've had to be very structured about my time there. This is difficult for me because I'm a bit of a 'free-spirit' stamper. I will be much happier about this situation once it is done and I have heat in my studio.

Hold on to your shorts, people!!! Is this little bumblebee not totally adorable?! He's a 'free-spirit' too, I think. i {heart} papers is launching a new line of stamps by artist Jannie Ho. I've enjoyed her artwork in some of my kid's beloved books. She does AMAZING work, and these stamps are MARVELOUS!!!! Kudos to Kate for this launch!

I stamped the bee with vintage photo and heat embossed it with irridescent ice. I used diamond stickles on his wings to continue with the bling thing. The circles are cut out using the pinking cirscles and the yellow was embossed with the Impressabilities Flowers plate. I stamped the flower twice and cut out the second one to pop it up and the image is coloured with copics.

More information will follow about the release of these cutie patootie stamps. Stay tuned for another sneak tomorrow!

stamps; hugs from a bug (chicken girl designs - IHP)
paper; nutmeg, yam, sunshine, coconut swirl (bazzill), sonoma collection (scenic route)
ink; vintage photo distress ink (ranger)
