I had a workshop this past weekend. This was a simple, WOW! kinda card for them. I was able to feature the new scallop border punch and Baja Breeze. The hostess
was newly engaged, so I wanted to do a card that was soft and lovely for her. I used the Stems and Silhouettes jumbo wheel and irridescent ice ep. These ladies swooned over the pretties kit!!! What a lovely time we had.
For today's colour challenge I decided to use an old SU! set, Sugar and Spice. I stamped the image on cardstock vellum and applied the colour with markers and used a blender pen to distribute the colour. The perfect pearls (kiwi) went on a little more gold than green, so I used gold more liberally than I would care to around the cardstock. A lovely, rich effect though.
stamps; en francais, sugar & spice
paper; old olive, chocolate chip (SU!), perlescent splash, cardstock vellum (paper accents), cryogen ivory (can't remember)
ink; old olive (SU!), perfect medium (ranger), perlescent chocolate (brilliance)
accessories; markers, elastic gold cord, trio punch (SU!), buttons (basic grey), goldenberry dew drops (Robin's nest), flowers, sheer green ribbon (making memories)

what a great couple of cards! I love the embossing on the no layers card and super new colors - the image and flowers are lovely on the second!
