I had that blue strip in the middle of the card, standing out like a sore thumb. Oh gosh! White and grey all over the place, so what gave me the idea for the blue?!!! Dunno... I attached the sentiment and it looked so plain and blah. Almost like a sad, November day. Now, while this is a sympathy card, the point is to offer empathy, a little cheer and some peace not offer sadness, pity and, well, grief. Yup, some days I seriously worry about myself.

Then, I figured if I add some flowers, it will look lovely. But make the flowers blue, so the card is still gender neutral. (My logic sounds flawed now as I'm telling you about my thought process, serious flawed - but it made boat loads of sense at the time! And, no I don't drink...) *sigh* Once it was all done, the little flowers reminded me of forget-me-nots! How stinkin' perfect is that. I'm telling you, I am chock full of happy accidents! I need more chocolate...
