Today, the sun is shining!!! Never mind the fact that if I set foot outside and breate deeply the crisp bite in the air will freeze my nose shut! I woke up with a gajillion stamping ideas running rampant through my head. Couldn't get to it right away though because we decided today was the day to treat the kids to eggs benedict. They just love our not often enough Saturday morning family breakfasts.

I pulled out one of my favourite stamps from Magenta called Invitation. I really like their puzzle stamps! And they take up so little room. Love that!! I stamped the image in basic brown on white cardstock and smudged ink (river rock, soft sky and sage shadow) with a fingertip sponge dauber. I applied the colour in little circles, so I'm not sure how some of it got so streaky looking, but I like the effect anyway - it's soft and lovely which is what I was after. I used a blender pen to add a little more focused colour to the blooms. I think I'm pleased with this one!

Then, I set up to photograph this card so I could upload, and look who kept sticking her nose in the way!!! I didn't do a close up here! She was IN MY FACE! At one point I could see nothing but her nose. This shot makes Willow look GINORMOUS - all 10lbs of her, which is mostly hair. No puppies yet... She'll go into heat again sometime around April, so maybe our BOY will figure out what to do this time. He couldn't resist that face now, could he?!!! Of course not! But he couldn't figure out that her side wasn't the back which would have ensured successful breeding either. He worked so hard at her side too *snort*!!!! Yoish!

Love your cards. This pic of your sheltie almost had me in tears. I lost my sheltie girl, Casey, last Aug. to kidney failure. I miss her so much. My girl was 25 lbs, but her markings were like yours. Thanks for sharing her, and your beautiful work.
