Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop

I am thrilled to be participating in today's Heartfelt Creations Alumni blog hop. It has been a very long time since I have been able to do this and I am so excited for the hop today. If you are here from Candy's blog, you are on the right track. If you are here as a faithful reader, the blog hop starts at Giovana's blog, and it might be fun to hop along and maybe even find a little inspiration along the way.

For my card, I wanted to make sure that the focus was on the scripture verse and the little blossoms, so I decided to use a lot of monochromatic texture. I used a sizzix embossing folder that I long ago have forgotten the name of. The verse is framed using fleur de lis rectangles that I added a lovely bunch of rhinestones to. This card really sparkles in the light on my desk. Initially, the cream side panels were bare, and just looked bare, so I cut and embossed 2 strips of matching paper with me parisian accents die.

These darling little blossoms were created using Posy Patch Cluster and Posy Patch Flowers by Heartfelt Creations. I cut out multiples of each blossom and worked them a bit with a paper shaping tool to give this cluster dimension.

This sentiment is from Hope in the Lord. This is a promise I am leaning on day by day as my job situation is uncertain right now and I am continuing with graduate studies.

The hop will be open from January 28th to January 31. By leaving comments along the way and on the Heartfelt Creations blog, you will be entered for a $25 gift certificate to shop with at heartfelt Creations. To continue on with the blog hop, I would invite you to hop over to Deneen's blog.

Have a lovely week, peeps!!

stamps; posy patch cluster, posy patch flowers, hope in the lord (heartfelt creations)
ink; tuxedo black memento ink (tsukineko)
paper; romance, walnut creme (bazzill)
accessories; fleur de lis rectangles, parisian accents, rectangles nestabilities (spellbinders), pink adhesive rhinestones (heidi swapp)
