I'm alive!!! I'm hanging on to a super charged rocket by my fingernails, but I'm back. I was in a car accident last Thursday and since then my joint aches have been getting better, but a headache and neck pain has been getting worse. Yup, I've been diagnosed with whiplash. It isn't really serious, but it is terribly inconvenient and has been triggering a major pity party on top of everything else that is happening. *sigh* It will get better, I know it! "In this world you WILL have trouble. But I have overcome the world." ~ Jesus
I'm thrilled to announce that I have moved from the By Lori Designs Challenge Team to the main design team. And today is release day for Lori's 6 new images; Hadley, Christian, Gidget, Cole, Todd and Hannah. They are super cute!!! There is the Special Bundle Price that will be available from today at 12 noon (EST) to Sunday at 12 noon. You can purchase all 6 images for $20.What a smokin' deal!
For the my launch project today, I've used darling Hadley and the sentiment is from Harper;
I just adore Hadley's little beach outfit! This image is cut out using Spellbinder's Labels 14 die and is mounted on Mango Frost pattern paper (DCWV) cut using Labels 17 die. The only new paper I cut into for this card was the white card base and the pale blue pattern paper background. When I grabbed my Mango Frost paper pad, these scraps fell out and I though how perfect for my card!! I used copics to colour Hadley and I know I gave her a better tan than I can possibly ever dream of achieving! Too funny! Her outfit has a little added sparkle from Orange Peel Stickles used on her polka dots. These large adhesive rhinestones are from the Que Sera Sera line by K & Co and I really enjoy the extra glimmer they add around Hadley.
The sentiment banner was hand cut and echoes the long pattern strips to the right, behind the image.
I love this Flora Doodle flower by Petaloo because the petals can bend slightly and it looks a bit like a happy sun shining down on Hadley on the beach. I pulled out some older Queen & Co flower embellishments to whimsically spill down from my flower sun.

Do take great care of yourself, I know what whiplash feels like and it is not fun at all. I love everything about your card, colors, image, and layout.
Cheers! Krysta
