Wowza! There are so many terrific challenges out there! I've been trying to get to more of them, and I am surely making strides to that goal. Some of my favourite place for challenges are Paper Craft Planet (the Super Novas rock my world!!) and I appreciate SO MUCH the work my friend Deb Felts puts into her side blog, The Daily Dare. Deb daily posts a list of challenge from the papercrafting portion of the web and it is often a go to for me as I prepare my papercrafting projects to post because it is a real time saver for me.
For my post today, I used last week's sketch challenge from Paper Craft Planet;
I also took a little time to check out the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast and saw the site Outer Banks Trading Group is the inspiration this week. I took a peek through the site and noticed all the marine theme product it has and I came up with this card;
I used my new Hattie paper pad by Stella and Rose from MME. I've had this pad for a few weeks and have been dying to dig into it. You will see more of it since I get goose bumps every time I flip through it - I love this paper!!! I combined it with 2 Unity stamp sets; the flourish from Imagine It and the sentiment from Create Today. I think I should have stamped the flourish on scrap paper first and stamped the secondary image on my nestabilities die cut square. It would have been easier to read the sentiment. *sigh* Sometimes, hindsight is such a pain in the hiney! I used a night blue pearl flourish for a little more nautical inspiration.
