Heartfelt Easter

I'm using the last of the new sets of the New Life Release from Heartfelt Creations.

These darling little eggs are from Egg-Citing Day, the sentiment is from Wrought Iron Cross and I used Stained Glass Background on my base pattern paper. When my kids were younger, we would sit around our kitchen table near Easter and they would sketch and colour on copy paper what they wanted their egg to look like and I would take their requests and draw using melted wax on the eggs we had hard boiled earlier in the day. We would then dunk the eggs in the dye and continue the wax and dye dipping process. It is such a fun childhood memory that they have, which I treasure in my heart.  There is a great website with instructions for Ukranian Egg decorating with the meaning of traditional symbols and colours.

There are many more lovely samples on the Heartfelt Creations Blog for your inspiration. Thanks for coming by today!!!
