Heartfelt Creations Dutch Iris Frame

I've been using my copic markers so much lately that I decided to give them the day off! *grin*  For my Heartfelt Creations project today, I watercoloured my image.

I love the softness of this card. I have some old 7gypsies paper and I chose my colours from it.

First, I stamped my image Dutch Iris Frame using Versamark and heat embossing it with super fine detail silver embossing powder. I used a colour wash on my image by using reinkers and my aqua painter and being very generous with water in the ink. Once an area was dry, I went back over it with an almost dry brush tip and ink to add some detail. Loverly!!

I used vellum to punch out butterflies adding another soft spring touch to this card and embellished them with pearls. I love the soft glow pearls have which made them a must have for this card.

Check out the Heartfelt Creations blog for more papercrafting inspiration!
