Box of Blessing

It's Release Day with Heartfelt Creations. The sets in the New Life Collection and a new cutting die are stunning and perfectly timed for Easter. *My apologies this is going live 2 days late - bad head cold and puppy house training*

I'm not completely happy with this box because it doesn't have a finished feel to it yet for me. I will likely alter it some more before I send it off to Heartfelt Creations. I started off by making a card which in my head was to be a set to go in this box. I covered the box with card stock and that's where the train derailed!!! Suddenly, I couldn't get the box together as the fit had become too tight. I ran out of time to finish or alter this box any more since it took me 4 days to get to this frustrating place.

I decided to mount the card as the focal point for the box top and submit 'as is'. Then I put my sad, sorry self to bed for a few days!

I'll fill you in on our puppy adventures tomorrow if my nose cooperates and stops this incessant dripping. My youngest daughter has been home from school for 2 full days now sick with this cold - again! Her tonsils are huge but not infected and I'm claiming this as such a blessing. It's a virus and we just need to be patient and let our bodies do their thing so we get better.

Have a wonderful weekend and stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog for more inspiration and specific instructions to create this project.

Well, I think it's just beautiful. What a pretty shade of green and those embossed panels with the ribbon are totally gorgeous. Wonderful scripture verse too!

Hope you and the family shake the cold/flu. Take care of yourself!

Hugs,
Linda
