Heartfelt Creations Springtime Medley Collection Release

Heartfelt Creations is releasing stunning, fresh floral images just in time for Spring paper crafting.  Here's a list of the new sets in the Springtime Medley Collection linked to their images on the Heartfelt Creations website;

I sit here now watching snow swirl hypnotically just beyond my studio window.  I know if I go out there and inhale deeply of the crisp air, my nose will firmly freeze shut.  Yup, January in brutally cold Western Canada.  These new stamps take me to a lovelier place in my mind.  A warmer place.  A place of happiness and joy walking around watching my gardens return to life after so many dormant months.

I used Exotic Fuchsias from this release for my card.  I did an image search so I could get the colours right and I found a DIVINE picture of purple fuchsias hanging in profusion in a gorgeous hanging basket.

I coloured these beautiful fuchsias with the following copic markers;

Fuchsia; V01, V04, V05, V09, V91, V93, YG0000, YG93, YG63, colorless blender
Leaves; YG11, YG63, YG67, YG99

I would like to draw your attention to the layers on this card.  It tickles my happy place.  I did a card last week called Hand Delivery Only and it took me wonderful zen-like hours to cut the pieces of the Autumn Corsage image.  This week, it took a fraction of the time because the Fuchsia blossom and bud were cut using co-ordinating dies from the Springtime Medley dies set.  Love these things when I don't need any zen time!!!

You will see more projects using these newly released sets on the Heartfelt Creations blog made by the rest of the Heartfelt Creations Design Team.

stamps; HCPC 3360 exotic fuchsias (heartfelt creations)
paper; Springtime Collection (Graphic45), Kraft (American Craft), White Canvas, Green Tea (bazzill), Copic paper
ink; Espresso adirondack (ranger)
accessories; labels 6, HCD 709 Springtime Medley Dies (spellbinders), stardust stickles (ranger), adhesive pearls (kaiser), white 1/4" satin ribbon (offray), large double arches edge punch (martha stewart), bow easy, copic markers

So detailed and strikingly beautiful! The layered fuschias (I didn't know those were flowers - always heard them referred to as a colour) are so lovely! Awesome coloring work, Loretta!
