I didn't realize it's been 6 days since my last post. I'm coming to the end of the wedding party alterations I have to do. 1 bride is fitted and loves the bustle I did for her. It ended up not being what she asked for, but it works better with the dress. Her dress gets picked up tomorrow. I have to shorten another wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress. Gotta bustle the wedding dress. The bridesmaid is pregnant and I have to let her dress out as far as it will go and hope for the best since the wedding is in 5 weeks.
I really needed a little break today, so I stole a little time after tweaking the first wedding dress to make this card;
I got the idea for my card from this card by Tosh Leyendekker; Know How Much I Love You. It's a real beauty. I used it as my starting point and gave my own spin to it from there. I got some goodies from i {heart} papers last week (*sigh*) and have been itching to play with them. I pulled out Le Romantique from Graphic 45 and used Unity Stamp Co, Artist in You for the sentiment - I just love this set!!!
I found this tutorial by Becca Feeken on some different uses for border punches. I gave it a whirl for the border, and well, I need some practice. I really like layering the punched borders, but I really need to play a little. I only went on one side with the border punch, but I love the double edge that Becca does and I do want to give it try. Gotta have a little time to play! I used a butterfly charm embellished with a bow to add a little interest in that corner.
I just love it when I have waking dreams about stamping so that my time in my studio is *UBER* efficient! I'll have a little more time to simply play after this wedding sewing stuff is done. I'm so looking forward to it!

What a gorgeous piece of art!! That edge on the bottom looks wonderful, and I really like the dp and how it ties in with all the elements.
