SFYTT - So Sweet!
Jen has an awesome sketch this week for her Sketch for you to Try. I liked it so much I just had to give it a go. I think sketch challenges are some of my favourite challenges. I can come up with colours easily enough thanks to all the fab designer papers on the market, but sometimes, the sketch just escapes me and I get stampers block.
I used a new Valentine's set from Our Craft Lounge called Sweet on You. I love the font used in the sentiments, and who can resist a cupcake?!!! Totally darling! I coloured the image with copics and layered it up like this;
I don't often do tole on my cards because I'm lazy. No other reasonable excuse for it. I love the look of paper tole, you just wouldn't know it from my own projects. Kim Teasdale does paper tole magnificently!! So do a few other crafters that I admire, but it's one of those days taht my thoughts keep falling out my left ear so I can't tell you who they are as I post this. I'll remember in the middle of the night though and sit straight up in bed, no doubt! *LOL*
Ta for now, all!!!
