SUINK Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge

[6a00e553522d0788330115714e7d5e970b-800wi.jpg]

Happy hump day - It's Wednesday and the SUINK design team has been challenged to make a project using stripes. Here's my contribution...

I will admit I don't have the best relationship with stripes. I'm short of stature and substantial of chestage, neither of which does well with stripes going either horizontally or vertically. ;) I have found of late that my stripe phobia has migrated into many other areas of my life. My house has no stripes anywhere in the decor. I struggle with the striped hand-me-downs that my girls have received. However, if my girls really like said object of clothing, I don't object. In most of my designer packs of paper, the striped paper is about all that isn't cut into. *sigh*

With yesterday's project, I used a very subtle stripe to ease myself into the stripe mindset. I think I did quite well. The striped paper I used today has a very subtle monochromatic stripe on both the yellow and green designer papers. I guess it's all about baby steps... and I really won't wear stripes no matter what anyone says!!!

Be sure to stop by and see what my fellow SUINK Inkies did with stripes;

Danielle
Tammy
Leigh

Your card is so pretty, Loretta! The layered ribbon effect is gorgeous. Your comments about wearing stripes made me laugh! I can't say that I agree with you : )
