SC220 butterfly blessings

This baby got torn apart at least 3 times. I just could not get the panels behind the main image to fit right. The cuts were crooked, blah de blah, and umpteen bajillion things just weren't coming together. *sigh* Why do I feel like it is that way on the days I just really need things to fall into place easily. I know, I'm rushing, taking short cuts that end up being longer cuts and I'm the issue.

That said, this card ended up almost exactly like I imagined it. I'm almost out of copper paper which is why I was scrimping so much, but once I splurged and cut into my very last piece of copper, everything went well.

I just love this leafy looking butterfly from Artful INKables. It is just divine, and I have so many plans for it. In our city zoo, there was a brown butterfly that looked this leafy and that memory in the butterfly house has stayed with me. I think it was a massive owl butterfly, and I don't know if it is naturally that raggedy or not, but it was amazing to see it flutter by on a slight breeze, easily as large as my hand! Beautiful!!!

stamps; butterfly blessings (Artful INKables)
paper; ancestry (K&Co), auckland, ruby red, nutmeg (bazzill), pearlized copper, ivory linen (paper accents)
