I'm so bad!!! This image has been on my desk for months and it was origianally for a magazine submission. The bat and the cat were in my clip photo holder. There is a holy-cow-look-at-those-lips frog there too that I'll have on a card shortly as well. Might be using that Miss Frog for dd's b-day card...
I can't remember all the stamps I used for this, and many are still hidden away from the move so I'll do my best to remember where they are from. I stamped the bat flourish with pitch black distress ink and immediately heat embossed with clear. Then, I coloured directly on a circle stamp from dots are hot and lightly misted the ink with water. I stippled the colour together for better blending. I used Ranger crackle medium on the moon to give it texture. I brayered pale plum on the image and then sponged the rest of the colour on.
I should have clear embossed the spooky cat, then stamped the pumpkin, but I was just figuring all this out back then... I think it turned out well, just not as dark and rich as I would have liked. I gave the bats and the cat a little 'frosting' with my white gel pen.
