Oh my gosh!! Oh my gosh!!! It's March! It's a big month in my house. My birthday, my sister's birthday, my youngest DD has her birthday, Easter and...

I'm the guest designer of the month for My Favourite Things!!!!!!!! Oh yeah!!! {happy dance} What a hoot! These new sets are FUN.

I finally go some Pergamano paper last month. I wanted to do an Easter card with MFT's new Punch a Bunch set, and I wanted to have a vintage needlework feel to it. I stamped the scallop oval with versamark and then dabbed green and brown chalk on it to achieve a mottled look. I punched out the scallop from pink paper and adhered it under the image. I embossed around the entire scallop image and added the dots.

stamps; punch a bunch, eggstra special easter (My Favourite Things)
paper; old world stack (DCWV), Pergamano (Ellen Hutson), Two Scoops (Basic Grey), Root Beer, Chantilly (Bazzill), Blue Bayou (Stampin' Up!)
ink; Versamark (Tsukineko), Not Quite Navy (Stampin' Up!)
accessories; Lily Kate velvet Ribbon, Two Scoops Brads (Basic Grey), Rosettes (unknown), coluzzle, Mega scallop oval punch (Marvy Uchida), Pebbles shimmer chalks (IKandee), Prisma Colours, Sheer white dotted ribbon (making Memories), PearlEx
I really like this little guy with the big ears! I have to be honest; this set arrived from Kim at MFT and I didn't see it again until a couple of days ago. My kids have had it and been using this bunny for all their Easter cards! One bunny is completely outlined with stickles, another is distressed. So sweet!!
stamps; punch a bunch, eggstra special easter (My Favourite Things)
paper; chantilly, ivy, pear, coconut smoothie (Bazzill), Two Scoops designer paper (Basic Grey)
ink; wild wasabi(Stampin' Up!), versafine black (Tsukineko)
accessories; frosted lace stickles (Ranger), copic markers, mega scallop oval punch (Marvy Uchida), Scallop circle punch (Stampin' Up!), 1 3/8" circle punch (EK Success), white gel pen, stardust glitter pen (Sakura), pink gingham ribbon (Bazzill), camel twill ribbon (unknown), two scoops brads (Basic Grey), green jewels (Q&Co.)
Okay, I think I'm a little cutting obsessed. I cut out the bunny, cut out the tulips, and for this one I cut out all the little flowers in their groups of 3...*sigh* I have nothing better to do with my time, I guess!! Seriously, I love these flowers! They remind me of Rudbeckia or black eye susans that will be starting to sprout somewhere in North America soon. Not here! We are just starting to enter out 2 snowiest months. April showers bring May flowers? Oh puh-leeze!!! March blizzards, April flurries and a big May thaw might give way to some plant growth in June. This stamp makes me happy thinking about the 6 weeks of warm weather that will come at some point before September.
stamps; punch a bunch (My Favourite Things)
paper; leap frog, chantilly (Bazzill), two scoops (Basic Grey), perlescent mauve (paper accents)
ink; pretty in pink, close to cocoa, wild wasabi (Stampin' Up!)
accessories; plumeria dew drops (The Robin's Nest), green ric rac, green gingham ribbon (Bazzill), cinnamon stickles (Ranger), white gel pen (Sakura), mini brads (Q&Co.)
This Cowgirl stamp is adorable!! The stamp has a lariat drawn on it, but I think she needs a real accessory to go with the fabulous boots.
stamps; Cowgirl (My Favourite Things)
paper; rootbeer, coconut smoothie (Bazzill), Kraft Cardstock (paper accents), Gretel (Cosmo Cricket)
ink; chocolate chip (Stampin' Up!)
accessories; screw brads (Karen Foster), Copic Markers, stardust gel glitter pens (Sakura), brown twill ribbon (Martha Stewart), Linen Thread (Stampin' Up!), Deckle scissors (Fiskars)
This girl is my favourite. I used a Sakura glaze pen to make her boots look like red pattened leather. Too bad it doesn't show in the picture a bit better. I wanted to have a cowboy boot charm for this card, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Would have been perfect though, eh?!
stamps; cowgirl (My Favourite Things)
paper; parrot, rootbeer, amsterdam, coconut smoothie (Bazzill), chasing butterflies (Daisy D's)
ink; chocolate chip (Stampin' Up!), Encore! bronze (Tsukineko)
accessories; hardware (We R Memory Keepers), gingham ribbons (bazzill), Linen Thread (Stampin' Up!), Hemp twine (unknown), white gel pen, clear glaze pen (Sakura), corner rounder (EK Success)
