Oh gosh!!! I have some time to call my own, and this is what comes spilling out! Some mornings I wake up so excited about the images rattling around in my noodle, but before today I had to keep filing them away until I had a few minutes. I have LOTS of spare minutes over the next while, and I hope I can get every single image out! Stamper's Sampler magazine asked me to continue submitting after my featured stamper issue was over, and this is for them.

I brayered cool caribbean over whisper white cardstock (ala Zindorf at SCS) then topped it with tempting turquoise, taken with teal and blue bayou. I think I'd have more contrast between the colours next time by eliminating tempting turquoise. I stamped the Fairies with Crafty Secrets Fairies stamp in Soot Black then embossed in clear. I LOVE that distress inks stay wet long enough to emboss them. I coloured in the wings with my sakura stardust gelly roll pen. At that point, I knew I loved this card. I frosted with sakura white gel pen.

I sponged so saffron, more mustard and creamy caramel on the bottom portion of this card. I stamped Stem Silhouettes for the foliage and frosted it a little as well. I stamped Magical from the Fairies set and finished off that band with a rhinestone brad, oversized eyelets and SU! black and white gingham ribbon.

This one is going to be a toughie to send away...
