Gems and glitter and sparkle - oh my!

I had success with last week's colour challenge from SCS, so I decided to try it again this week. Hmmm - I feel like I'm on a roll. This is for CC150 - Real Soft Bayou

I am really loving the new Stampin' Up! set One of a kind - the flowers have a very Jacobean feel to them which is so classic. For the sentiment tag, I used a little image from French Mail by Crafty Secrets.

I gave this card so much bling that I thought my camera would freak out from the reflection. I have an inexpensive little camera and it is dying a slow death - the picture are getting so grainy that I can't take pictures of my cards on white cardstock anymore as that is when it is most obvious. I'm hoping I get a camera for my birthday. *hope, hope, hope*

I got my order of the new pattern "Two Scoops" by Basic Grey almost 2 weeks ago. I finally cracked open the brads. They looked so sad against all the blingie flowers so I covered them with a thin layer of white glue (I used the quick dry adhesive from Scotch - LOVE that stuff!!) and dunked them in Art Institute glitter. I have several peewee packs since they are such a great way to try out a bunch of co-ordinating colours affordably. Glitter and emboss powder - it seems to take forever to go through them because a little goes such a long way!
