love to create

I used Big Celebrations for this card. Stampin' Up! put this one on the retired list this month and so my 12yo dd begged me to get it. Man! They have had so much fun with this set so far that I wonder why I didn't get it sooner?!!!

I used adirondak reinkers to watercolour the main image. They have such a nice clear colour - I love them! I cased the layout from one of sweetmissdaisy's cards (Anna Wight). I used Basic Grey Fruitcake paper and bazzill java which is so dark it's almost black, but it ISN'T black. That dang allergy acted up so bad with the last card I need to avoid black at all costs - LOL!!! I wanted a little warmth with this card, and I do find black to be a little stark. It's classic - I know, and I think I may be resolving to TRY to use black more and this java cardstock is my transition.

I must admit I was pleased with myself with this image when it was done...
