I discovered that there are more stamps in the Build a Bouquet set by My Favourite Things than the ones that make a topiary. Go figure!!!! LOL! I made several of this card to give this Christmas. I thought, "It'll be so cute. The design is simple enough." I think I lied to myself. The design is simple but cutting out a bajillion of these flowers qualifies as not so simple. Sometimes I worry about myself!

I stamped the big flourish from my Fancy Pants set in Versamark - I can't remember the name of the set and I'm too tired to go look. I painted it with green duo pearl ex then I sponged sage shadow around the edges. Sage shadow is a colour ringer for the green duo - fabulous!!

I really love how the pearl ex makes this card look magical - The flourish changes colour and at the right angle disappears altogether. It's a really amazing addition to the look. I stamped the largest flower in cranberry crisp directly on the card front. The other layers of the flowers were done with gradually smaller flower sizes in varying shades of red. I did a very thin line around the edge with my gold zig painty pen.

I'm going to join my kids on the couch to watch the classic movie Brigadoon with Gene Kelly and cut out flowers...
