This snowman is so fun! For me it's a reminder to keep looking for all the little things God does in my life everyday to show His love and care for me and His pleasure in me.

I stamped him on Shimmer white paper because I truly believe one can never have too much sparkle during the darkest season of the year! :) He was stamped with Distress Ink Soot Black and because this ink has a little open time, I embossed him with detail clear ep. I absolutely LOVE distress inks... I coloured him with prismacolors and gamsol then touched up shadow areas with my copics. I added sparkle in highlight areas with my sakura gelly roll pen - another fave! I used my new sakura permapaque metal pen for his buttons - a new fave. I used bazzill bling sugar daddy for the card base (shiny!) and basic grey fruitcake for the designer papers - yup, fave! I'm pleased with this card...

Last week was a tough week for me, and the pressure isn't going to let up or change much for the next month and a half. It was important inside my headspace to use all the faves I could lay my hands on in a short period of time Saturday night for my sanity. I have no doubt you know what I'm talking about if you are a mom, with kids and a job...
