ULAS Challenge

Okay! It's my turn to post a ULAS challenge. This is my very first time posting a challenge, so be gentle...

Your challenge is to take some stress out of Christmas by creating a distressed Christmas card. Make it vintage or shabby chic, the choice is up to you! Warm, cozy, family heirloom. You know the look! Remember that if this card needs to be mailed, keep it flat-ish.

I did the image on whisper white - big mistake!!! The water-based liquid embossing warped the paper quite badly. The over all look of the card is the look I intended, but I didn't intend for the cracked glass effect! I left the embossing liquid to cure for 48 hours like the bottle recommends. Since the paper was so warped I put it through my Xyron so the whole backside would be covered with adhesive. It came out the other side with a big crack right through the middle! *sigh* I put it in the freezer and - voila! cracked glass, and I like it even better now.

To play along with this challenge, upload on SCS with ULAS de-stressed and check out what some of my friends did too!
