Praying For You

Just before I left the ihp design team, Kate got in this fabulous paper from My Mind's Eye called Meadow. I nearly fell on the floor when I saw the darling little pad. The colours and the images are fully my cup of tea.

Well, colour me stunned when I cam across these stamps which coordinate PERFECTLY. It's a huge set called Growth from Market Street Stamps. Divine!

Then, I couldn't resist the call of my bow easy and my 1" wide ivory offray ribbon to finish this one off. So serene and I love that the look of the whole doesn't detract from the sentiments. Sometimes, I get it right despite myself!!

IHP - Doggie Bag

I know several people who have recently brought new pets into their homes. On a regular basis through our fostering, I know many people who adopt pets into their families, but I can't give gifts to everyone of them! Instead, I'm trying to make a gift for friends who have a new furry addition.

It's a Doggie Bag!! I may break my arm patting myself on the back for the name of this project. My inspiration came from the i {heart} papers design team inspiration for this month;

I love the windows in the blue room, and the colour of the pink accessories, so I combined the ' feel of the 2 rooms.

I stamped my cute little dog from my Paw prints on Our Hearts stamp set by Market Street Stamps on X-Press it Blending card stock by Copic with London Fog Memento ink. I made her nose and eyes black by colouring over the grey ink with a black 0.3 Copic multi liner pen before I coloured her with C00/01/03/05 copic markers. Because I use Memento ink and copic pens, my image doesn't smear or run when I colour using copic markers. This collar image is too short for this dog image since it is intended for the Chihuahua image in the set, but it's not a problem since I extended the collar by filling in the gaps with my multi liner pen.

That sweet little bling on this pup's collar is a light pink basics rhinestone from kaiser craft. A must have for all puppy fashionistas!!

This tag was made using leftovers from the window - waste not! I stamped the sentiment in London Fog Memento ink and the little paw print and wings was stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I used a larger light pink rhinestone below the sentiment and attached it with a tiny paper clip. Natural Linen cord was cut to length and then separated into strands before being tied to the paper clip. This paper is from Uncommon by Authentique. I wanted to add a little more personality to my bag so I cut off the top 2" using Pierceabilities Pinking cutting border die. The effect is fabulous!!

Check out what the rest of my friends did with this inspiration challenge, and if you are inspired, please use code ihp0112 when you upload so we can find your project and leave a comment for you!
