Yellow Flowers for You

For the last few years I was working on a Master's degree, and sadly, I wasn't able to participate in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges on Splitcoaststampers. I finished this past spring, and I am happy to be mixing in some paper crafting with the other stuff of life.

I layered dies from Luscious Labels 1 and Victorian Medallion 3 to create the lacey panel. By sponging the edges of each layer, it makes it easier to differentiate the layers of 'lace'.

I chose to combine 3 challenges with this card because I know I haven't a hope of getting to all 40 challenges that will be posted over the course of this week's challenges. This is a pretty generic card, because I couldn't find a stamped sentiment in my stash that would compliment the floral spray and layout.

The tiny yellow flowers are made using the Hydrangea Create-a-Flower die. I have never actually used this die to create a hydrangea bloom. This wee die is my absolute favourite for quickly cutting 20 tiny, perfect flowers.

paper; rose cafe (bo bunny), almond cream, fern, lemonade, white (bazzill)
ink; antique linen, tea dye, frayed burlap distress ink (ranger)
accessories; luscious labels 1, victorian medallion 3, sprigs, cherry blossoms, hydrangea (spellbinders)
