ODBD July Release

Welcome! I have 2 projects to show for the July release from Our Daily Bread Designs. This first card uses the floral stamp from Fragrance.

This floral cluster makes creating a lovely, feminine card a breeze, which is why I chose to create this in pale pink and white.

I stamped the image using versamark and heat embossed it using gold detail embossing powder. I coloured it with copic markers and overpainted it using glimmer mist to increase the shine. The leaves were cut using Fancy Foliage dies and heat embossed using a shabby pink enamel powder. The effect is amazing!!

I cut the lattice inset using Quatrefoil Pattern die. I thought of using this die to emboss, but I really wanted the contrast between white and pink to shine. Another variation that I think would be lovely would be to adhere gold studs, gems or pearls in the centers of the repeating quatrefoil pattern.

I really love this card, the floral image and the sentiments in this set. It's a fave for certain!!

stamps; fragrance (odbd)
paper; tickled pink, white cardstock (bazzill), x-press it blending card (copic)
ink; versamark (tsukineko)
accessories; quatrefoil pattern die, fancy foliage die (odbd), shabby pink embossing enamel (stampendous), fine detail gold embossing powder (ranger), white ribbon (offray)

Both cards are gorgeous, Loretta! Love the quatrefoil frame for the beautiful roses on your first card, and the use of the knitting papers inside the window was very clever! Fabulous look back projects! Hugs!
