Good Morning! I grabbed a couple of spare minutes to throw this lovely together;
Isn't that the way it is with fashion too? With simple flair, style can be thrown together! This card is broken down in fashion terms quite simply.
Texture is critical for the overall feel of this card. I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder that I love - Post Card. It's sold in a pair, and I can't remember what the set is called.
Next, layers add interest and provide opportunity for more texture. I stamped my sentiment from Mon Ami Paris by Technique Tuesday with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Next, I stamped the Fleur de Lis fro mthe same set in Willow Adirondack ink, centering it over the sentiment. It has been popped up using Pop Dots and all the spellbinders dies used here were run through my Big Shot that extra time using the embossing mat so I could have even more texture on my card.
Finally, a Paris card wouldn't be complete without some satin and bling! I layered black satin ribbon over pleated satin trim by Maya Road, and added a vintage rhinestone button. DIVINE!
Have a happy hump day, 'cause here comes the weekend!
