Lily of the Valley - Just For Me

Every once in a while, I become slightly delinquent with my design team work and I pull out images I bought because I love them and they have been sitting in a tidy little pile on my desk quietly waiting for my attention. Sometimes it takes me a week to find enough free time on the sly to get these projects done! Today, I want to share a 'just for me' project.

I love the whimsey of the Lily of the Valley stamps because they make me remember snippets of my children when they were small and played dress up and would use the entire living room to create a village and the center piece was a tea party on the low table.

This darling image is Birthday Fairy which I stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink (recommended by copic for use with their markers) and she was cut out using the largest classic rectangles nestabilities die. I have used some old Cosmo Cricket paper called Little Girls. It's so old it isn't on the CC website anymore!!! Jeepers, it likely should have been used up long before now. Paper doesn't come with an expiration date, does it?! If so, I have more than my fair share of expired paper products... *sigh* My stardust stickles are also getting so old that I have to shake them to re mix the glitter and glue so if you see more sparkle that I normally have on my projects, I want to get this stuff used up not wasted. Now, for fresh supplies like newly released Cosmo Cricket paper and NEW stickles, Kate can meet your paper crafting needs and wants at i {heart} papers!!!

I used tiny flora and fauna punches by EK Success for the floral spray in the corner. Cute, eh?!! I used some really old dew drops for some shine without sparkle.

I used the following copics on this project;
skin; YR0000/000, R12
hair & floor; E11/13/15/19
sweater, pom poms & gift wrap; BG70/72/75, (dots) YG91/93
wings, tutu & bow; R000/20/21/22/24
slippers; R000/20, E71
bear & socks; C0/2/3/4/7
background; E40/42/43, colourless blender

stamps; birthday fairy (lily of the valley)
paper; little girl (cosmo cricket), canvas white, lagoon (bazzill), x-press it (copic)
ink; tuxedo black memento (tsukineko)
accessories; {really old} teal ribbon (american craft elements), white satin ribbon (SU!), flora and fauna punches (ek success), lg rectangle nestabilities die (spellbinders), spring bloom dew drops (the robin's nest), border punch (martha stewart), stardust stickles (ranger)

bows & berries; glitter

This is so cute! I love the colors, and the way you've colored the image! I'm taking my first Copic class on Oct. 13 in Knoxville, and I'm so excited to learn how to shade like you have!

I hope your time opens up for you to spend some in your craft room, and things settle down a bit!
