Good Tuesday to you! The By Lori Designs Design Team were asked to create with 'School Time' in mind.
Today is the first full day back for my kids and this was an easy theme for me to get my head around. I know it's fall, and I see my Virginia Creeper changing to brilliant red outside my window, but I'm just not ready to let go of summer since it is just far too short in my parts. I chose to use some brighter school theme papers for my card and these girly coloured papers from Fly a Kite by October Afternoon really fit the bill. I cut School Girl Lacie out using a large petite oval die and framed it using the coordinating large petite oval scallop die from Spellbinders.
I coloured Lollipop School Girl Lacie using the followingcopic markers;
skin; E000, E00, E01, E11, R12
hair, shoes & book; E51, E53, E55
sweater, bow & book; R0000, R00, R01, R11, R12, R14
skirt & apple;YG11, YG13, YG17
lunch box & book;Y02, Y13, Y15, Y17
background & book; BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG05, BG11
stamps; school girl lacie, baby blessings sentiments (by lori designs)
paper; fly a kite (october afternoon), lagoon, maltball (bazzill)
ink; juniper adirondack (ranger)
accessories; lg petite oval scallop, lg petite oval nestabilities (spellbinders), brown brads (bo bunny), buttons (basic grey), dew drops (the robin's nest), copic markers
pile it on - anything that starts with 'b'
emerald faerie - buttons
crazy for challenges - back to school
aud sentiments challenge - for a girl
sweet stampin' - anything but a birthday
stamp something - something digi (image and sentiment)
card makin' mamas - digi image
creative card crew - anything goes
ribbon carousel - anything goes

inspire me fridays - anything goes
make it monday - anything goes

Your card is really sweet. You did an awesome job with this. Best of luck on the challenges you have entered. I entered the PIO challenge, but failed to realize I needed to enter it in as many various challenges as possible. I am getting the hang of things in blog land.....slowly but surely. I would love to have you visit my blog, and if you like what you see - please become a follower on my blog, and I will do the same for you. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see you soon at:
