BLD Watermelon Smile

Happy Tuesday! I took MacIntyre to the vet today for a check up. His illness is in remission and we can start weaning him off the prednisone. He will be in foster care until September, until he can have his vaccinations and neuter surgery.

And on to paper crafting. Today, the By Lori Designs team is spotlighting Watermelon Smiles.

Since this past weekend was all about damage control and comforting my family, I needed to go simple with this card. I used pattern paper to carry the bulk of the design and punches and nestabilities to provide all the framing for the image. The only embellishment is a piece of ribbon.

I also went a little simpler with my colouring by not shading as I normally do. This is a bit more colouring book coloured, but with such a sweet image, it all works.
