Very happy Saturday, papercrafters!!!

We have a special treat for you starting this week on the Paper Craft Planet Blog sponsored by Riddersholm Designs, a new to us Danish paper company. Their papers are darling, with a bit of an edginess to them. “The product itself is designed by Connie, produced in Denmark and marked with the Scandinavian environmental seal ‘Svanemaerket’ meaning it is produced to protect our environment.

I was sent the Happy Party line of paper to play with and I came up with this set;

Now, let me show you the pieces for this set a bit closer! It’s very sweet. First up, I made this cupcake box using a free petal box template I found when I did a Google search for a cupcake box template.

Here’s the box open;

And then the box closed on this bit of sugary heaven;

Next, I used the Riddersholm Designs paper Happy Party Enjoy – 2. They have cupcake wrappers printed on this paper and are super simple to cut out and assemble;

The lacy border was added by cutting out a white cardstock strip 9″ long using your favourite border punch. Here, I used the long border die from Parisian Accents by Spellbinders.

I made some of the cupcake wrappers using the cupcake image printed on the paper with the wrappers – an easy embellishment that I didn’t even have to colour!

I used 3 of the Happy Party papers to create this card. First, I cut a 1″ strip from the 3 papers. I cut each strip into 1″ squares and sponged the edges of the papers. Next, I scored lines evenly dividing my card stock base into quarters. These score lines helped me line up my squares so I didn’t go wonky as I assembles my patchwork card.

Finally, I cut out one more cupcake to embellish the sentiment I used for my card. I don’t think it gets any easier or cuter than that!!

Be sure to go to the Paper Craft Planet blog every Saturday for the next few weeks to see more projects by the rest of the Super Novas using more Riddersholm Designs Product.

Do leave a comment on the Paper Craft Planet blog post for your chance to win the line of papers produced by Riddersholm Designs that I have used here for my project! Good luck!!!
