Happy Fall

Prepare 6"x6" card base with card stock layers (5 7/8" square and 5 3/4" square). Cut muted pattern paper rectangles 5 1/2"x 1 7/8" and 5 1/2"x 3 1/2". Sponge edges with ink then adhere to card base and attach brads. Cut brown cardstock rectangle 5"x 1 1/4" and 2nd pattern paper rectangle 4 7/8"x 1 1/8". Adhere to card as shown. Prepare image mats by cutting brown cardstock 4" square, and red cardstock 3 7/8" square.

For the image, cut ivory cardstock 3 3/4" square. Using a grey brown ink pad, ink leaf section of the tree image. Colour trunk using a medium and dark brown dye tombow marker (969, 879) and the grass using a medium and bright green tombow markers (N57, 098). mist image lightly with water to refresh and stamp image on cardstock. To create the fall foliage, dab creme chalks. I used cream chalk ink (iKandee pebbles) because the colours don't blend necessarily when applied and I can use several contrasting colours without concern for colours bleeding. Ink background stamp with grey brown ink and over stamp on coloured image. The creme chalks will resist the dye ink - a very cool effect. Layer image and adhere to prepared card base.

Using fancy tags nestability die, cut out fancy sentiment base and then cut red petite oval layer. Stamp sentiment using dark brown ink and cut out with petite oval nestability die. Sponge edge with brown ink, adhere garnet pearls, and layer as shown. Adhere to prepared card.  Colour white pearls with copic marker to co-ordinate with the card and apply below sentiment as shown.
