The puppies had their first experience with solids today. This is wonderful because my time will start to free up now without having to bottle feed them individually. I breathe a sigh of relief!
Since I had a little extra time today, I made this fun card for a single girl friend of mine who is moving;
I coloured this 'On the Moove!' image with copic markers. I love the way the coloured background looks watercoloured - so cool! The windshield has a little glass shine from glossy accents applied before the background was coloured. This beautiful girl is 4 layers deep!! Check it out;
Now, I have got to tell you about this *uber* cool ribbon Kate just got in the store. It is fabric and one side has adhesive on it. I'm not sure I can begin to tell you how amazing it is!!! I made pleats with the ribbon and since it sticks to itself, it's really easy to do, but then I really wasn't thinking and covered it up with my bow. *oops* But check out the sparkle on that bow!!!
I used my embossing buddy to take away some of the stick - really this ribbon is super *uber* sticky - so magnificent!!! I tied a bow with the slightly de-sticked ribbon and then I sprinkled glitter on it and it was still sticky enough that the glitter stayed put. I'm in love! This lovely, soft bluey green on the gingham ribbon is a terrific colour that I saw used for Christmas in several new paper lines at CHA in July. I can hardly wait to make sparkly ribbon to co-ordinate with sparkly snowflakes and stars on my Christmas cards. There are so many patterns that this ribbon is available in and I can see it becoming a must have!!! It comes in adhesive fabric sheets too.
Really, you just have to check out the fab new stuff Kate has at i {heart} papers!!!
