Midnight Madness challenge

This is the sketch for the Midnight Madness sketch challenge this week and I think it's a perfectly marvelous sketch;

I really like the Vintage Graduation set Tracy designed for Sugar Creek Hollow, and while there is no sense in denying that it is primarily a graduation set, there is a stunning sentiment included with this set that, I think, multitasks for many occasions!  I used it for my card using this sketch;

A very dear friend of ours is getting married in 2 weeks and we need a special card for this couple.  I used a traditional colour palette for this card by sticking to white and ivory.  The background paper is from Basic Grey's recent release, Capella that you have heard me go on and on about.  I think this paper is some of the best Basic Grey has ever released IMHO.

To create monochromatic drama with this card, I simply stacked a bunch of spellbinder dies.  Lots of dies!  For the base, I cut the Fair Isle pendant from white cardstock.  Next, I cut a scallop petite oval from ivory and a petite oval from white.  I used Floral Accent cut from white as a large flourish detail framing the sentiment and the sentiment was cut using Ribbon Tag Trio 2.  I used little adhesive pearls to accent the Accent.  ;)   A little ribbon and a trio of ribbon sliders, and it's done!

I entered this card into the following challenges;

Technique Challenge on SCS - make it personal and a favorite technique (dry embossing)

stamps; vintage graduation (sugar creek hollow)
paper; capella (basic grey), coconut swirl, french vanilla (bazzill)
accessories; ribbon (offray), petite oval, scallop petite oval, fair isle pendant, floral accent, ribbon tag trio 2 (spellbinders), adhesive pearls (zva), ribbon sliders (SU!)
