Sugar Creek Hollow Fabulous Friday

I am posting the right card on the right day. This almost feels like an EVENT!!! A huge deal. Seriously, where is my supervision when I need it?!!!

Today, the challenge is to make a Mother's Day Easel card. I LOVE easel cards and it is one of my favourite card styles!

I used a Sugar Creek Hollow past Freebie image that I really love. It's round, which always appeals to me, and it's a simple sentiment. I sponged edges using a new distress ink, bundled sage, which is quickly becoming a go to colour for me. This beautiful paper is from a Die Cuts With a View pad I've had for awhile and haven't used until today. I had pulled it out several times over the last 6 weeks, but each time, it just wasn't quite right.

I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and have a little time to take a peek at the wonderful creations by the rest of the Sugar Creek Hollow design team and our new guest designer!

Joseline

stamps; MD circle (sugar creek hollow)
paper; mariposa (dcwv), sprout, brown, coconut swirl (bazzill)
ink; bundles sage distress ink (ranger)
accessories; labels 4, circle, scallop circle nesties (spellbinders), rhinestone flourish (zva), ribbon (may arts), rhinestone brad (making memories), clear dew drops (the robin's nest)
