Sugar Creek Hollow Grand Opening Attitude

It's Grand Opening at Sugar Creek Hollow!!!! I am so excited to be part of the celebration and Design Team!! We are kicking off the Grand Opening with a Grand Celebration!!! For today only, we are offering a free digi for for EVERY $10 spent. Spend $10 you get one free digi, spent $20 you get 2 free digis, spent $30...well you know the rest!

The Design Team has created a card for you to see these beautiful digis in use. Here's my card;

Now go visit the rest of the DT to see their beautiful cards. Then, go to Sugar Creek Hollow's website to purchase your favorite digis!!

I worked on this for a couple of days because I was just stymied on what I wanted to do to this chicken. I finally settled on watercolouring on regular cardstock (this is not for the faint of heart) to get a bit more of a grainy look to the image. I liked the way it turned out.

Then I decided to experiment with some new shimmer spray that I just got... I should have stopped while I was ahead. I went from a classic vintage card to a shabby chic over the moon sparkly card in the time it took me to squirt that little bottle and say, 'Oops!' First, when the little nozzle is pointing (I thought) at the card stock, how did I sparkle up my bookcase? *sigh* I really need supervision some days!!! LOL!

**edit - It's a rooster, I knew that... Again, I need supervision!**

stamps; stitched chicken, attitude (sugar creek hollow)
paper; costal culture (mambi), life's journey (k&co), berlin, hayley (bazzill), ribbons (be good by cosmo cricket)
ink; tea dye, vintage photo distress ink (ranger)
accessories; square, scallop square, mega deckle rectangle nesties (spellbinders), beetle black brads (bazzill), frost & copper shimmer psst (tsukineko), ribbon (offray), large eyelets (we r memory keepers)

I REALLY love what you have done here, Loretta!!! The background papers are so lovely and perfect for this image. And that mottled look on the main image/panel looks fabulous too. Isn't it funny how something we didn't intend comes out so sensational - LOL. Great work!

Hugs,
Linda

Hey Guys
I'm thinking of replacing my worn out Entertainment Center with a new one from MilesGershon.com -Has anyone bought Entertainment Centersfrom these guys? I'm kind of worried about shipping times.
