JBE062 A little bit of Bliss...

It's Tuesday again and we have another fabulous sketch for you to try this week at Jacksonbelle Embellishments. Hope you will play along and if you do, please leave a link to your card on the challenge blog, or use JBE062 as a keyword when uploading to SCS (or both!)

First - HUGE apologies that I'm a little late. We took a bunch of our puppies to an adopt-a-thon Sunday afternoon. I couldn't find the sunscreen and we HAD to get there. I'm fair - and yes, you should cringe now... I'm burned to a crispy critter and so is my red head DD. CRISP, people! A little blistering on the top. So, yesterday morning I took my dad to an appointment and then 2 kids to the orthodontist. By the time I got back home I couldn't keep my eyes open so I napped for - get this - 3 hours! So not like me. I got my card done last night, but by the time I was done, I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.

My oldest DD is helping me refine me upload skills and I had to upload this morning. I tried for all I was worth to remember how to crop my image. I tried everything and finally went and whispered my dilemma in her sleepy ear. She got up and walked me through it for the 2nd time, and here it is;

So, I used my Daisy D paper, 'Chasing Butterflies'. Totally darling stuff that! JBelle has her Daisy D on sale this week so check it out! I finally got a blinkie uploaded under JBelle on the sidebar, so make sure you see that cutie patootie thing!!! And said DD helped me get that uploaded this morning too. *It's been a big day!* And it's only 8am!!!

I watercoloured the big flower and a few leaves from Lizzie Anne's 'Blissful Blossoms'. I think I may have overdone it with the bling, but really, is that possible?!!!

Check out the other fabo creations by the rest of the JBelle Rockstars by following the links on my sidebar...and wear sunscreen!!! ;)

stamps; blissful blossoms (lizzie anne designs)
paper; chasing butterflies (daisy d), green tea, pomegranate (bazzill), watercolour paper
ink; stazon jet black (tsukineko), scattered straw, spiced marmalade, peeled paint distress ink reinkers (ranger)
accessories; labels 3, blossom nestabilities (spellbinders), corduroy brad (zva), swiss dot folder (provo), clear rhinestones (kaiser), brown satin ribbon (offray)

Fabulous card Loretta!! LOVE that huge flower on there and you did a great job cropping your photo! The DD paper is so cute too. :)

Uck...sorry you're a li'l crispy! I'm a redhead too and tend to burn. Although I do tan some too and have a ton of freckles, so my skin's not quite as fair as most redheads. But my mom and aunts have already had skin cancer removed so I keep sunscreen in my purse! :) Take care of yourself!! {{Hugs}}
