SC206

I do love this layout. I cased it from this card on splitcoast. I don't have the hutspa to do a sparkly pink dove, so I opted for safe brown. Besides, I really do like the old world charm of this go-jus paper from basic grey. Classic layout, classic paper - from there it's hard to go wrong!

stamps; to you & yours (SU!)
paper; wassail (basic grey), coconut smoothie, brown (bazzill)
ink; walnut stain, antique linen (distress ink by ranger)
accessories; gold brads (making memories), goldenberry dew drops (the robin's nest), designer label punch, 1" circle pinch, ticket corner punch (SU!), oval and scallop oval nestabilities (spellbinders)

Okay, it took me more than 2 months to track down the branch punch from martha stewart. Faith (markie'smom) uses it a lot and every time I've seen it on all the various and sundry cards on SCS it has motivated me to go out and look again. Finally, on Tuesday, I went into a Walmart a hlaf hour drive away, and they had 4 of these beauties hanging on the hook - BONUS!!!! I left 3 for some other lucky person *LOL*. Then I found the snowflake punch and this border punch. *sigh* I meant to only get the branch. Oh well. That doesn't happen too often, and they are all used already, so no returning them now *grin*
I used the rock 'n roll tecjnique on the snowflakes using chalk ink. The little green centers are left overs from the border punch. I ran the edges of the paper over my white ink pad, then heat embossed with bridal embossing tinsel for a little sparkle and shine.
This morning I had to wander around to find this card so I could get a picture of it. My youngest DD was wandering with it, taking it to each room in the house to see the difference the light in each room made to the sparkle. Too cute!!!
stamps; snowflakes (SU!)
paper; good cheer (k&co), not quite navy, old olive (su!), ivy (bazzill)
ink; brillianace chalk ink (tsukineko), white craft (SU!)
accessories; 1 1/2", 1 3/8" circle punches (SU!), star border, branch, snowflake punches (martha stewart), crystal glitter (art institute), bridal emboss tinsel (ranger), clear baubles (stamping bella), white satin ribbon (offray), crystal stickles (ranger)
