Today I used a sentiment from Create with tlc and made a MAN CARD! I cut this sentiment using a Reverse Wonky Rectangle die - a simple but effective shape that looks like a fat bow tie silhouette.
I think I'm getting more comfy with the man card, so I've started making more of them. I think I've learned that simpler is better for a masculine card and so using a fabulous pattern paper for the card base tends to be the direction I lean towards. This paper is from Timeless Vintage, a Kaiser Craft paper pad I got from Kate at ihp.
Have a terrific day!
stamps; sentiment (create with tlc)
paper; timeless vintage (kaiser craft from ihp), cashmere, raven, coconut swirl (bazzill)
ink; pumice stone, frayed burlap, black soot distress ink (ranger)
accessories; reverse wonky rectangle nestabilities (spellbinders), black brads (bazzill), black grosgrain ribbon (su!)
lexi's creations - just a sentiment
scrapbook sisters - anything goes
aud sentiments - make us laugh
eat, sleep, stamp - sketch (I turned it sideways)
SCS CAS challenge - inspiration challenge (I used the colours)

I love this sentiment and it goes so well with your DP. A really lovely man's card, Loretta! x
Fun guy card! Very cool idea using clock dp in the bg. I like the soft sponging around the sentiment and the dp panels.
What a gorgeous card! I love the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Aud Sentiments.
Awesome card. I love making cards, but hardly ever make a masculine card. I think it's because it can't have frills and bling. :) This one is just fantastic. May have to copy somewhat. TFS
Fab guy card, Loretta! Great papers and sentiment!
Like many other posters, I LOVE THE SENTIMENT! But the card design is wonderful also. Please keep posting your lovely work!
