This is 'Hugs from a Bug';
The second set being released is 'Into the Forest';
I used 'Into the Forest' to make this spinner card;
And here's the owl after it takes a flight;
I had a hard time getting this card away from my kids. They were having too much fun making this PINK owl spin around from tree to stump and back again. My kids really love making her have an accident on the tree and crashing into the stump on her head, but this is a kids card made to make them laugh.
There is no ribbon on this card and that feels so wrong because I use ribbon on almost everything. Every time I tried to place several different ribbons, this little scene became crowded and all cluttery.
Most days of the week, I'm just not a 3-D engineering kinda girl. This card took some time to get everything so it worked smoothly, and I'm almost breaking my arm patting myself on the back for it! That little owl flies smoothly, and it looks almost natural. I must say that both these CGD sets would work for spinner cards - what a hoot!!! *pun intended only if you think it's funny...* ;)
I coloured the owl with copic markers and the dots were created using a copic blender pen and dotting the coloured areas. The blender pen disperses the colour, making that area lighter.
'Into the Forest', used to make this card, is up for grabs as my blog candy! Please leave me a comment telling me which of the new sets you like and I will choose by random integer generator Monday at 6pm, MST.
Please take a little time to leave comments on the rest of the Chicken Girl blogs for more opportunities to win blog candy! Kate, Judy, Kendra, Lori, Merry, Natasha, Shannon, Shelly and Tammy

Oh my gosh! Adorable!!! It's been years since I made a spinner card.
Love the cards! I love the bee on the other set but my favorite is Into the Woods - love the font and artwork and the bear with his kerchief (or napkin) would be great asking "what's cookin'?" Thanks for the chance to win.
Fantastic card!!! I really like both of the sets but I think Hugs from a Bug is my fave!!
This card is adorable! Is there a tutorial for the spinner?
My favorite of the two releases is into the forest!
Can't wait to see the others yet to come!
Thank you for sharing!
Did you give the card back to your kids? LOL
