Butterfly Blessing

Today, for my Heartfelt Creations project, I used one of the June release Bella Rose Wedding Sets. I wanted to show the versatility of this set by using the sentiment from Bella Rose Scroll.

I think this is such a lovely, everyday sentiment of blessing with a very elegant font.

To showcase this lovely sentiment, I created a Center Step Card using the tutorial from Split Coast Stampers. I altered the instruction measurements to accommodate a 6" square card.

Cut card stock base 6"x12". Cut card stock 1" in from long edge from 1 1/2" to 9", then repeat on the other side so cuts run parallel to each other and the long side of the card. Score card stock parallel to short edge starting on the cut end at 1 1/2", 3" and 7 1/2" between long card edge and cut lines, the score between cut lines at 6". Now, the hard part is done and you might want to take a breather! *grin* Cut remaining card stock as follows; pattern paper: 2 rectangles 1"x 4 1/4", rectangle 1 1/4" x 5 3/4" and 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" and teal card stock: 2 rectangles 1 1/8"x 4 3/8", rectangle 1 3/8"x 5 7/8" and 3 3/8" x 4 3/8".

I just love the large, lacy butterfly die from Fanciful Flights Shapeabilities by Spellbinders Dies. I cut both a butterfly and a Parisian Motif Medallion from heavy weight vellum so I could emboss them both. What a lovely way to bring a little joy to someone's day!

stamps; bella rose scroll (heartfelt creations)
paper; gabrielle (bo bunny), linen closet (DCWV), pinecone, walnut creme (bazzill)
ink; espresso adirondack (ranger)
accessories; fanciful flights, large circles, small ovals, parisian accents, parisian motifs (spellbinders), pearls (kaiser craft), white satin ribbon (SU!)

creative belli - handmade embellishments
sweetpea stampers - wings
flutter by wednesday - open
crazy 4 challenge - center step card
ai factory - favourite embellishment (butterflies, ribbon and pearls)
